Super Mario Bros. Movie Focusing on Rainbow Road Rage – Asian-Cosplay

While the jury’s still out on the quality of the movie adaptation of the Mario series, the Super Mario Bros. movie is set to pay homage to Rainbow Road from the Mario Kart spinoffs, which was the major focus on the last trailer for the blockbuster.

Luigi is shown being held in a cage, similar to those that held Princess Peach in the original games, alongside cameos of characters like the Luma and penguins from other Mario games. Super Mario Odyssey also gets some love, with reference to its reverse pyramid in one of the shots.
